A little help with my battery please. I have the exact same problem as TNgal with my 2020 Subaru Outback. I was leaning against the left side of the rear gate when it beeped. If it won't open, and you're sure the lever isn't the problem, pull on the lever and then give the door a couple raps and it should dislodge any buildup. (It's worked for me after a wash.) If you can, enlist the aid of a helper to pull the lever while you try it. R.
